Sr. Application Engineer - Swing Shift

Overview

Senior Application Engineer responsible for implementing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Works with product, engineering, and support teams to deliver scalable, maintainable applications and ensure consistent software quality.

What you'll do

• Code, test, and implement software solutions to meet functional and technical requirements.
• Build high-performance, loosely coupled services using modern frameworks and patterns.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure quality and deployability.
• Refactor code and maintain standards for readability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers to improve user experience.
• Review support requests and identify opportunities to prevent recurring issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• At least 2 years building front-end and/or back-end systems.
• Experience with web and backend technologies (Spring, Micronaut preferred).
• Experience with web frameworks (e.g., Angular, NodeJS), version control, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Role is primarily office-based.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, if needed.
