Sr. Associate Support Engineer, Security

Overview

Support Engineer responsible for implementing, administering, monitoring and supporting security solutions across client on-premise and cloud IT environments.

What you'll do

• Install, configure and troubleshoot security products using project plans.
• Integrate security solutions with client SIEM platforms.
• Monitor security solutions and prepare scheduled client reports.
• Maintain client implementation and configuration documentation.
• Manage security product support cases and product issue logs according to SLAs.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, support engineers and account managers.
• Provide feedback to improve security product implementation and adoption.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of relevant IT procedures experience.
• 3+ years of data center operations experience.
• 3+ years of software installation, configuration and troubleshooting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Understanding of network, application server and database server technology tiers.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service skills and experience contributing to IT projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with security solutions such as database activity monitoring, application monitoring and virtual patching.
• Understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP and private cloud infrastructure.
• Experience delivering managed or professional services against contractual SLAs.
• Knowledge of cloud security, encryption and identity management.
