Sr Engineer

Overview

Design, develop, validate, and maintain embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs as part of a software engineering team.

What you'll do

• Design and implement software modules for products and systems.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements.
• Code large features and perform unit testing.
• Debug, integrate, and fix software issues.
• Conduct code reviews and regression tests.
• Collaborate with project team members on project objectives.
• Write technical documentation for software projects.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a master's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a PhD in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience planning, problem-solving, and prioritizing tasks without defined steps.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of software engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of database management software experience.
• 2+ years of API experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or another source code management system.
