Sr. Engineer - Cloud

Overview

Senior Backend Software Engineer responsible for building SOAR connectors and platform services that integrate security platforms with Falcon Fusion. The role focuses on scalable, reliable cloud-based microservices and operational ownership.

What you'll do

• Build SOAR connectors integrating SIEM, EDR, ticketing, and IAM platforms with Falcon Fusion.
• Contribute to platform services for connector execution, authentication, and orchestration.
• Drive architectural decisions balancing scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
• Own connectors from API research through deployment and production support.
• Develop authentication mechanisms using OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and API keys.
• Build automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for multi-region deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and document integration and operational procedures.

What you'll need

• 10+ years designing, implementing, and maintaining software products or systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Go.
• Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with large-scale architecture, scalability, availability, and optimization.
• Strong debugging, communication, and operational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Contributions to the open source community.
• Golang experience.
• Experience with cybersecurity platforms or integrations.
