Overview

Sr Engineer–EE Engineer focused on electrical architecture, wiring harness design/validation, circuit creation and controls, and related vehicle EE development activities.

What you'll do

• Design and/or validate EE architecture for OEMs or TIER 1 suppliers.
• Work on wiring harness knowledge and vehicle architecture.
• Create electrical circuits and controls.
• Size electrical components (wire, fuse, relay) and perform validation.
• Handle harness components such as connectors, terminals, wires, relays, fuses, and supports.
• Apply global design rules, regulations, benchmarking, and circuit schematic practices.
• Use wiring circuit product data management tools.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years of experience in EE architecture design and/or validation.
• Knowledge of wiring harness and product design plus supplier drawings of wiring harness.
• Experience with electrical circuit creation and controls.
• Knowledge of sizing electrical components and validation.
• Knowledge of automobile EE functions for high-end vehicles (examples listed: BCM/EMS/ABS/Airbags; EV modules including BMS/DCDC Charger/PEB/Electric Motor).
• Knowledge of CAN/LIN communication.
