Overview
Sr. Engineer - Network Security works as a Security Consultant focused on protecting customer environments from evolving threats. The role includes assessing, analyzing, and implementing security measures with hands-on security control design and deployment.
What you'll do
- Assess and analyze security posture in customer environments.
- Design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with clients on security requirements and risk management guidance.
- Deploy security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, access controls, and encryption.
- Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential breaches.
- Produce security audit/review findings to support management decisions.
- Stay current on security threats, technologies, and best practices.
What you'll need
- Minimum 7+ years of proven experience in Network Security management.
- Experience with Load Balancers (F5 & Citrix Netscalers) plus WAF/SSLO (F5).
- Experience managing LB & WAF.
- Knowledge of switching & routing and firewalls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing threats and security trends.
- Network Security certifications such as CCNP, F5 BigIQ, and Citrix NetScaler.
Nice to have
- Experience assisting stakeholders with quantifying risks and mitigation/remediation strategy development.
- Understanding and application of NIST Control Framework / Critical Security Controls.
- Experience with cloud security, cyber resiliency/incident management, and Zero Trust.
- Experience with network/EDGE security and emerging technologies like IoT and AI.
