Sr. GIS Solution Engineer – AEC

Overview

Sr. GIS Solution Engineer focused on geospatial and AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) solution expertise. You collaborate with an account team to advise customers and deliver GIS-based solutions.

What you'll do

• Present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions with the account team.
• Lead technical meetings with enterprise-level decision makers to drive revenue.
• Craft and propose solutions that explain how GIS delivers customer business value.
• Align complex strategies using Esri technology with customers’ business needs.
• Design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences for large customer engagements.
• Provide configuration guidance and best practices; present at large conferences and executive engagements.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience using Esri technology to create maps, perform spatial analysis, and configure web applications.
• 3+ years of experience in AEC, environmental consulting, or related industries.
• Broad knowledge of ArcGIS concepts from an IT context (e.g., hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud).
• Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design.
• Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture.
• Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
• Programming/scripting experience with Python and JavaScript.

• Work mode: Remote Eligible (US).
• Travel: domestically or internationally 25-50%.
