Sr Internal Auditor

Overview

Senior Internal Audit Compliance & Operational Audit Specialist supporting SOX 404 compliance, continuous auditing analytics, and operational audits.

What you'll do

• Review processes and functions within the SOX 404 program scope and assess control effectiveness.
• Develop and implement continuous auditing analytics to spot compliance and operational weaknesses.
• Design risk-based audit programs with Internal Audit colleagues and support departmental deliverables.
• Conduct operational audits aligned with Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards, internal policies, and procedures.
• Independently implement assigned audit sections with minimal supervision.
• Provide internal control guidance to business functions to strengthen compliance practices.
• Present audit findings and recommendations to auditees and middle management.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant internal audit, external audit, compliance, or related experience.
• Knowledge of SOX 404 compliance requirements, process reviews, and internal control testing.
• Experience assessing compliance exposures, operational processes, and risk management practices.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, governance frameworks, and operational audit methodologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with middle management.
