Sr. Manager, Field Engineering

Overview

Sr. Manager, Field Engineering provides technical support, guidance, and training to field associates, and leads service quality, continuous improvement, and field education efforts.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and advise on corrective actions.
• Provide technical direction to branch adjusters and other field personnel.
• Deliver training and guide field teams with service and equipment information.
• Conduct inspection trips across the assigned territory to consult on product performance issues.
• Control service quality for new installations, modernization, and related inspection/test reports.
• Resolve issues using CRC data and propose constructive equipment changes.
• Interact with customers at the branch level to explain technical problems.

What you'll need

• 5+ years relevant technical elevator experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working in a technical environment using Microsoft-based computer software.
• Ability to work in a highly team-oriented, dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and goal/time management/organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Otis and non-Otis software, and experience with current/vintage Otis and non-Otis products.

Details

• Work is remote (Texas Home Offices) with periodic travel required.
