Sr. Observability Engineer

Overview

Sr. Observability Engineer in Hyderabad to administer, monitor, and support Micron’s monitoring and observability services.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, support, and maintain monitoring solutions.
• Administer, monitor, and support monitoring and observability services for global application and infrastructure monitoring.
• Monitor systems and proactively address performance bottlenecks.
• Coordinate planned downtime and software installs for assigned services.
• Support day-to-day operations, customer support, incident resolution, and troubleshooting.
• Provide 24x7 on-call technical support and expertise for customer issues and escalation.
• Document system configurations, operational procedures, and changes.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in monitoring and observability.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools including Splunk, OpsRamp, AppDynamics, NetBrain, NetScout, and Cisco Catalyst Center.
• Knowledge of infrastructure and application monitoring across Windows, Linux, and cloud.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic scripting knowledge with TypeScript, React, Ansible, and Python.
• Experience building dashboards for real-time visibility of system health and performance.
• Familiarity with ITIL or incident management workflows.
