Sr Performance Engineer

Overview

As a Sr. Performance Engineer, you’ll join an experienced engineering team building a large-scale UEM platform as a service.

What you'll do

• Identify and deliver solutions for performance, scalability, efficiency, and capacity bottlenecks in UEM platform/services.
• Use .NET Framework and .NET Core web services for performance analysis, profiling, and production optimization.
• Define performance benchmarks, KPIs, and SLOs with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvements.
• Identify, analyze, and eliminate performance bottlenecks across application, infrastructure, and database layers.
• Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests under varying workloads.
• Respond to performance incidents and escalations and help prioritize engineering work from initiatives to sprints.

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience in C#, Java, Go, Groovy, or Python with a focus on performance profiling and optimization.
• Hands-on cloud and infrastructure experience with AWS, vSphere, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, Linux/Unix internals, and system performance tuning.
• CI/CD experience with tools such as GitHub Actions and Artifactory.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code/configuration management tools such as Terraform, Helm, Chef, or Salt.
• Experience using monitoring/observability/profiling tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Wavefront, Kibana, Logz.io, dotTrace/dotMemory, or SentryOne.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and LLMs for analysis and anomaly detection.
