Sr Principal, Analyst (Semiconductor Memory – NAND Flash/DRAM)

Overview

Lead quantitative market intelligence for global DRAM, HBM and NAND Flash markets. Develop authoritative forecasts and translate supply, demand, pricing and technology signals into client-facing insights.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain global DRAM, HBM and NAND supply-demand forecasts.
• Track supplier capacity, capex, technology transitions and competitive positioning.
• Forecast market size, revenue, units, ASPs and supplier market share.
• Quantify memory demand across AI/data centers, storage, PCs, smartphones and automotive.
• Maintain quarterly trackers, forecast models, source databases and scenario analyses.
• Provide written analysis and support senior client conversations.
• Identify forecast risks and revise assumptions and outlooks.

What you'll need

• 7–10+ years of experience in semiconductor memory, market intelligence, product planning, business planning, forecasting or industry research.
• Deep expertise in DRAM and/or NAND Flash, with the ability to cover both.
• Understanding of memory manufacturing economics, technology migration, supplier capacity and pricing cycles.
• Ability to build and maintain quantitative market models and forecasts.
• BE/BTech in Electronics, Semiconductors or software engineering from a Grade A engineering college.
• Strong Excel modeling, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts and develop actionable recommendations.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree and MBA in Marketing or Operations from leading A or B schools.
• Experience with memory suppliers, market-research firms, OEMs, hyperscalers or relevant supply-chain organizations.
• Prior speaking-engagement experience.
