Overview

Sr Principal Engineer (Software) leads architecture, design, development, and delivery of cost-effective software solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and architect scalable software solutions using modern engineering practices.
• Lead complex programs or key workstreams including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Translate product and software requirements into architecture and design alternatives.
• Solve ambiguous, complex technical problems balancing quality, cost, time, and business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, users, and external partners to deliver and maintain architecture.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams and platforms.

What you'll need

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 13+ years related experience.
• Advanced experience with .NET, C#, Web APIs, microservices, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure or AWS and relational database design including SQL Server.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• Ability to align technical decisions with business objectives, cost, quality, and delivery expectations.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
• Medical-device software experience.
