Sr Principal Solution Consultant

Overview

Sr Principal Solution Consultant working with AspenTech sales teams to lead consultative discovery and deliver industry-specific, customer-ready solution strategies.

What you'll do

• Lead consultative discovery sessions with sales teams.
• Craft visionary, tailored solutions and strategies for customer needs.
• Lead technical qualification of solutions tied to business outcomes.
• Accompany sales teams to meet customers and articulate the AspenTech vision.
• Develop messaging and materials to position solutions across target industries.
• Present solutions at major trade shows and events globally.
• Train and educate sales account managers and solution consultants for industry engagement.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience selling software solutions in Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation industries.
• Engineering degree preferred.
• Experience across the industries’ processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in one or several AspenTech solution areas including Advanced Control and Optimization, Asset Performance Management, Data Historian & Fabric, and Engineering.
• Knowledge of AI/ML solutions and their application in solutions and the industry.
• Strong ability to bridge technology and business by articulating differentiated technical value.
• Travel up to 35%.
