Overview
Develop and maintain .NET web applications and RESTful APIs supporting business transactions and reporting. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams on design, quality, security, cloud deployment, and production support.
What you'll do
- Develop, document, test, and maintain .NET web applications and RESTful APIs.
- Design microservices solutions using established patterns such as Dependency Injection and Repository.
- Containerize applications with Docker and support deployment to Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, dependency monitoring, and data protection practices.
- Design databases, optimize queries, troubleshoot defects, and maintain application performance.
- Support code reviews, process improvements, Agile collaboration, and production issue resolution including occasional off-hour support.
What you'll need
- In-depth experience with C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, Entity Framework Core, NHibernate, and .NET 8/.NET 10 LTS.
- Experience with React and/or Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive component-based UI design.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Functions.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MS SQL Server, including schema design, query tuning, and data migration.
- Experience writing automated unit and integration tests using xUnit and/or NUnit.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and using code management tools such as Git or SVN.
- Automobile domain and global application support experience, with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
Nice to have
- Experience with legacy AngularJS and jQuery/JavaScript.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Dynatrace, Postman, SonarQube, or JMeter.
- Microsoft or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer certification.
- Knowledge of other programming languages, content management systems, or mobile application development.
