What you'll do
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance cloud service management so they can deploy, monitor, and maintain services independently.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions for real-time infrastructure health insights.
- Join a shared On-Call rotation to support critical infrastructure incidents and cloud networking escalations.
- Design and implement network observability for end-to-end traffic visibility across cloud networking components.
- Partner with technical leaders on the infrastructure roadmap to strengthen infrastructure security using automation.
- Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code workflows deployed via CI/CD.
- Advocate for cloud cost optimization and efficient resource utilization.
What you'll need

- Deep expertise in public cloud networking (AWS/GCP) including VPC design, peering, routing, NAT gateways, and service endpoints.
- Developer skills in Python, Java, or Go for integrating and visualizing data for decision-making.
- Experience managing and debugging traffic flows between Kubernetes workloads and cloud-managed services, including service discovery, DNS, and overlay networks.
- Proven ability to architect network mapping/visualization solutions (e.g., Istio telemetry or custom Grafana dashboards).
- Hands-on experience using cloud-native services in large-scale environments with AWS/GCP using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and other CI/CD tools.
- Experience with monitoring/alerting tools including Grafana, Prometheus, and/or Datadog.
