Job description
Overview
Senior Software Test Engineer in AspenTech's Technology Group, testing new solutions that support the Performance Engineering vision and the Asset Optimization strategy.
What you'll do
- Design automated and manual tests to ensure high quality software deliverables.
- Collaborate with product managers, product designers and developers to develop detailed product requirements and translate those requirements into tests.
- Keep current with new and developing technologies as they appear in industry and assist in determining the feasibility of implementing new technologies.
What you'll need
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field.
- 5+ years of professional software testing experience.
- Experience testing software systems using a variety of languages.
- Experience developing software behavior tests using Gherkin.
- Experience with agile software development practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- English language fluency, both written and verbal.
Nice to have
- C# and C++ experience.
- Experience in Engineering Simulators used in the Oil and Gas Industry.
