Overview
Sr Specialist System Engineering serving as the primary off-shore DevOps/Infra support lead for automation tools and 4G/5G core network simulators across NPRD/Labs and PROD.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with a 3-tier hyper→macro→micro architecture.
- Develop Helm v3 (OCI) charts and publish/package artifacts to JFrog Artifactory OCI.
- Automate Kubernetes deployments using Python orchestration, including config substitution and health checks.
- Own end-to-end secrets management using Ansible Vault and HashiCorp Vault with zero-plaintext controls.
- Provision and operate infrastructure including KVM/QEMU/libvirt VM lifecycle and SR-IOV passthrough.
- Implement IaC provisioning using OpenStack HEAT (on-prem) and Azure Bicep (NAKS/AON resources).
- Run environment promotion (NPRD→PROD) with release branching and quarterly release coordination.
What you'll need
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes platforms and production-grade CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub/GitOps).
- Strong automation skills in Python, Ansible, and Bash for orchestration and tooling.
- Deep experience with Helm 3 (OCI) and release/artifact publishing to JFrog Artifactory OCI.
- Expertise in secrets management with HashiCorp Vault and Ansible Vault, including credential rotation and secure repo practices.
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning and IaC using OpenStack HEAT and/or Azure Bicep.
- Working knowledge of advanced Kubernetes networking/storage (Multus, SR-IOV, MetalLB, Calico; Rook-Ceph/local storage).
- Troubleshooting and incident management skills across Kubernetes clusters, networking, and stateful services.

- This is an offshore role requiring daily collaboration with U.S. stakeholders, including overlapping work hours.
