Sr. Support Engineer, SAP FICO -Remote Mexico

Overview

Sr. Support Engineer specializing in SAP FICO (Controlling) to support complex global SAP environments. Provide hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis and deliver client-facing support for mission-critical SAP applications.

What you'll do

• Provide expert-level SAP FICO support with emphasis on CO-PC, Material Ledger, Cost Center/Profit Center Accounting, and CO-PA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues including month-end close and controlling processes.
• Perform costing and variance analysis and root cause analysis in highly customized SAP environments.
• Support cross-module integrations (FI, MM, SD, PS) and work with SAP Project Systems (PS) items like WBS structures and cost integration.
• Diagnose issues with clients and deliver clear, actionable solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams (e.g., ABAP, integrations) to resolve defects and develop application fixes/data corrections.
• Support global customers in a 24x7 support model while adhering to SLAs.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on FICO/Controlling (CO).
• Strong working knowledge of standard SAP FI operations (GL, AP, AR) for CO integration support.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Product Costing (CO-PC) and Material Ledger.
• Proven experience troubleshooting month-end close issues, costing variances, and settlement processes.
• Strong understanding of CO-FI integration and cross-functional processes (MM, SD, PS).
• Hands-on experience with SAP Project Systems (PS) configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, including the ability to debug complex issues.
