Technical Account Manager

Overview

Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Samsara, acting as a trusted technical advisor for technical customer success and long-term platform adoption. The role is remote and open to candidates based in Mexico and India.

What you'll do

• Deliver measurable value beyond traditional technical support.
• Optimize customers' technical health and mitigate risk to achieve outcomes.
• Independently manage a portfolio with tailored success plans and risk mitigation.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and advise customers on best practices.
• Own the technical ticket lifecycle, including escalations and root cause analysis.
• Lead technical meetings and quarterly technical account reviews with clear communication.
• Collaborate with Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering to unify the customer experience.

What you'll need

• 7+ years experience in a technical, customer-facing role (technical account management, solutions consulting, or customer success).
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Exceptional technical literacy to understand and troubleshoot hardware, software, and API integrations.
• Ability to leverage AI and a commitment to continuous learning, including AI applications.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Data-informed approach to understanding customer needs and building trusted relationships.
