Overview
Staff Engineer (AI & Automation) responsible for AI agent infrastructure and an automation platform for Marketing Operations. Own end-to-end development and technical direction for multi-agent, LLM-integrated systems and scalable automation workflows.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end development of multi-agent AI systems from architecture through testing, deployment, and operation.
- Build modular, composable agentic systems using orchestration frameworks that operate across teams.
- Develop reusable agentic skills usable via interfaces like Slack, dashboards, internal apps, and CLIs.
- Implement observability and feedback loops for logging, metrics, prompt iteration, evaluation, and cost management.
- Design AI governance and compliance standards including access controls, audit trails, PII handling, and human escalation paths.
- Build integration services (MCP servers, APIs, CLIs, microservices) connecting AI models to business systems and data flows for RAG.
- Partner with RevOps, Demand Generation, Regional Marketing, and SDR teams to scope automation problems and ship measurable solutions.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with depth in backend, systems integration, or data/analytics engineering.
- 2+ years hands-on experience applying LLMs/AI to production workflows (not just prototypes).
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/Node.js with Git-based workflows, code review, and testing discipline.
- Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks and patterns including prompt engineering, RAG, tool use, structured output parsing, and evaluation.
- Experience building and operating multi-agent systems at scale including orchestration patterns, state management, and production monitoring.
- Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and serverless/containerized services (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run).
