Overview

Staff Engineer – Customer Engineering, Camera, responsible for embedded software, camera driver development, and video processing pipeline implementation.

What you'll do

• Design and implement camera drivers for multiple vendor sensors.
• Develop video processing pipelines for playback, capture, transcoding, streaming, and voice calls.
• Work with MIPI-CSI-2, PHY, I2C, SPI, V4L2, and camera connectivity technologies.
• Implement and debug low-level software and hardware interfaces.
• Apply video pre- and post-processing algorithms for subjective quality enhancement.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple time zones.

What you'll need

• 11–15 years of experience.
• Experience in embedded software or driver development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and operating systems.
• Experience with camera sensors from Sony, Aptina, or OmniVision.
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years, master's degree and 3+ years, or PhD and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with a programming language and 1+ year with debugging techniques.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with camera imaging pipelines, including 3A, HDR, and color correction.
• Knowledge of computer vision and video analytics.
• Experience with Android, QNX, or Embedded Linux.
• Understanding of ARM assembly and low-level interfaces.
