Staff Engineer - ML Libraries Development Engineer

Overview

Develop and optimize core machine learning kernels and libraries for ARM CPUs supporting Qualcomm SoCs and ML/AI platforms.

What you'll do

• Optimize core ML kernels using ARM SME and SVE advancements.
• Improve ML model performance on Qualcomm SoC CPUs.
• Design algorithms using linear algebra functions for AI and ML.
• Evaluate and optimize application performance for ARM architectures.
• Run inference on models developed with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.
• Evaluate performance using QEMU, simulators, emulators, and real hardware.

What you'll need

• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of ARM CPU architecture fundamentals and AArch64 ISA.
• Experience optimizing kernels for vector processors.
• Understanding of linear algebra functions used in AI and ML.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Understanding of open-source library framework design.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of ARM ISA.
• Knowledge of algorithms for vector and matrix accelerators.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Experience optimizing linear algebra algorithms.
