What you'll do

• Design, develop, deliver, and maintain video features on Qualcomm SOCs.
• Support video software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPU and hypervisor-based systems.
• Debug end-to-end use cases for secure video playback.
• Optimize power and performance to meet automotive requirements (car play and Android Auto) and conformance certifications.
• Debug secure video playback issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

What you'll need

• 10–12 years of experience in the multimedia domain (video, display, graphics, camera) as stated.
• Experience handling video codecs including H264, H265, VP9, HEVC, and AV1.
• Expertise in video technologies including Gstreamer, Codec2, V4l2, Android multimedia framework, FFMEG, and DRM.
• Must have hands-on experience in Linux kernel programming, Linux memory management, and Linux device drivers.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience with memory management flows and buffer optimization.
• Good kernel and user-space debugging skills, including debugging with JTAG or ICE debuggers.
