Staff Engineer, HSM Firmware

Overview

Define and implement product improvements for cloud data protection and security products, including software design, development, validation, troubleshooting, and customer issue resolution.

What you'll do

• Define and implement product improvements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot deployment, configuration, and product issues.
• Propose short-term workarounds and implement product fixes.
• Perform functional and technical design of the software.
• Develop and validate entire functional components and modules.
• Collaborate with the team on integrating the product and its infrastructure.
• Conduct code reviews and improve software development processes.
• Collaborate with Support, R&D, and Technical Marketing Engineers to diagnose and troubleshoot escalated customer issues.
• Orchestrate development and testing of patches and hot-fixes.

What you'll need

• BS/BE/B.Tech, MS/ME/M.Tech, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field of study.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security.
• Strong knowledge of data security.
• Strong knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric key cryptography.
• Strong knowledge of data structures.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms.
• Strong knowledge of software design.
• Expert knowledge developing and debugging in C, C++, and RUST.
• Strong interest in learning new technologies.

Nice to have

• Embedded systems design and development experience.

• Location: Hyderabad.
