Staff Engineer (Microsoft Power Automate)

Overview

Staff Engineer role focused on designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end applications and automations using Google AppSheet, with workflow automation using Microsoft Power Automate and integrations with enterprise systems.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Google AppSheet applications, including data modelling, UX/UI, views, slices, and workflow automation.
• Configure slicers and filters for advanced data segmentation and role/context-aware views.
• Build AppSheet Bots, automated actions, notifications, scheduled tasks, and conditional workflows.
• Develop and manage AppSheet APIs and custom integrations with third-party/enterprise systems.
• Implement security filters and role-based access controls (RBAC).
• Optimize AppSheet applications for large datasets, high concurrency, performance, and reliability.
• Develop webhook-based and REST API integrations for bidirectional data exchange; integrate with Microsoft Power Automate workflows.

What you'll need

• 5.5+ years hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying applications with Google AppSheet.
• Experience with AppSheet data modelling, views, slices, filters, workflows, Bots, automated actions, and application security.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Power Automate for workflow and cross-platform automation.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL as a backend data source plus SQL query and integration experience.
• Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, API integrations, and bidirectional data exchange.
• Experience implementing security filters and RBAC.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, including stakeholder management and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SQL Server.
• Exposure to Google App Engine.
• Knowledge of ITSM tools, notification platforms, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Exposure to Agentic AI and intelligent automation concepts.
