Staff Engineer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Overview

Staff Engineer with hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) development and implementation experience, owning campaign/journey/automation delivery and SFMC integrations.

What you'll do

• Develop, configure, and deploy email campaigns, customer journeys, and automations in SFMC.
• Build responsive, dynamic, and personalized email templates using HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SSJS.
• Configure and manage Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder, and Mobile Studio.
• Create SQL queries, Data Extensions, and perform audience segmentation and personalization strategies.
• Build and support triggered communications, lifecycle campaigns, and marketing automation workflows.
• Integrate SFMC with external applications via APIs and support end-to-end data synchronization.
• Monitor deliverability, IP/domain reputation, and campaign performance; troubleshoot execution, automation, data, and integration issues.

What you'll need

• Total experience of 5.5+ years.
• Hands-on SFMC development and implementation experience.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries, creating Data Extensions, and audience segmentation.
• Knowledge of SFMC modules including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder, and Mobile Studio.
• Hands-on experience developing responsive/dynamic email templates using HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SSJS.
• Experience integrating SFMC using APIs and supporting external system integrations.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Advertising Studio and audience creation.
• Experience with Salesforce Mobile SDK.

Details

• Works independently in geographically distributed Agile teams.
• Acts as module lead and primary point of contact (POC) for one or more markets or business units.
