Staff Product Analytics Engineer

Overview

Staff Product Analytics Engineer role in Celonis’ Data Analytics and Transformation team, focused on building analytic infrastructure for product analytics and decision-making.

What you'll do

• Partner with product, engineering, and GTM stakeholders to understand analytic needs and data engineering requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain resilient data infrastructure sourcing data from enterprise systems, communication tools, product telemetry, and observability systems.
• Ensure continuous and reliable data flow to support product analytics activities.
• Build a scalable platform for Celonis as a Digital Twin and apply Celonis Solutions internally.
• Continuously refine data engineering processes to improve data accuracy, consistency, and integrity via audit and review.
• Conduct in-depth analytics investigations to answer business questions and support product/engineering ideas.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with focus on Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• 10+ years relevant experience as an Analytics Engineer/Data Engineer or similar.
• Experience building analytic data repositories from sources like cloud billing, product telemetry, and observability systems.
• Extensive experience building a scalable data stack within Databricks in an enterprise context.
• Multi-cloud hands-on experience across GCP, AWS, and Azure (huge plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in agile teams using collaboration software like Jira.
