Staff Professional Service Consultant - Customer Success Engineer

Overview

Serve as a senior Customer Success Engineer and principal technical advisor for enterprise Next-Generation Firewall environments. Guide customers through deployment, optimization, security feature adoption, migrations, and operational improvements across edge, data center, branch, cloud, and data security environments.

What you'll do

• Conduct service reviews, maturity assessments, and security posture evaluations.
• Deliver technical workshops and customized product enablement plans.
• Advise on Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager, HA design, logging, and PAN-OS upgrades.
• Deploy and optimize firewall policies, advanced threat protection, decryption, DLP, and cloud security features.
• Guide Zero Trust microsegmentation, VSYS, ZTP, IoT security, and AI access security deployments.
• Deploy and troubleshoot GlobalProtect, site-to-site VPNs, routing, and HA failovers.
• Provide guidance on hardware refreshes and Panorama-to-SCM migrations.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering, security architecture, or deployment-focused customer success.
• 2–3 years of hands-on deployment and troubleshooting experience in live enterprise firewall environments.
• Deep knowledge of NGFW architectures, PAN-OS, Panorama, and Strata Cloud Manager.
• Hands-on experience with IPsec VPN, QoS, BGP/OSPF, ZTP, and PKI certificate validation.
• Experience configuring SAML, RADIUS, LDAP, and GlobalProtect HIP integrations.
• Experience with CASB, enterprise DLP, and IoT security platforms.
• Ability to explain complex technical architectures and build relationships across customer personas.

• Top-tier Technical Assistance Center experience.
• Security operations or firewall operations experience.
• PCNSE or equivalent expert-level network security certification.
• Experience with AI-driven security dashboards, AIOps, or automated configuration assessments.
