Overview
Customer Success Engineer supporting application teams with secure cloud adoption, platform enablement, reusable engineering patterns, and improved developer experience.
What you'll do
- Accelerate cloud adoption, resolve blockers, and support application teams across the DWS Cloud Enclave.
- Support onboarding, migration readiness, environment setup, productionisation, and cloud platform consumption.
- Build Terraform modules, GitHub workflows, templates, and self-service infrastructure assets.
- Provide hands-on support for GCP, automation, IAM, networking, observability, deployment workflows, and platform integration.
- Embed SDLC, security, risk, and governance requirements into engineering and DevOps patterns.
- Create knowledge bases, onboarding guides, FAQs, and technical examples.
- Collaborate with platform, security, architecture, SDLC, and application teams to standardise cloud adoption.
What you'll need
- 4–8 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure automation, platform engineering, SRE, or application enablement.
- Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience, preferably with Terraform.
- Working knowledge of a major cloud platform, preferably GCP.
- Experience with GitHub or similar source control platforms and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong cloud and DevOps fundamentals, including automation, access control, troubleshooting, and operational readiness.
- Basic scripting or programming ability in Python, Java, .NET, Go, or shell scripting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or an IT-related discipline, or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Exposure to GCP services including GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Monitoring.
- Experience building reusable engineering assets and self-service automation.
- Familiarity with SDLC, security, risk, and governance practices in regulated environments.
- Exposure to developer experience, internal platform enablement, observability, or AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Relevant cloud, DevOps, platform engineering, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub, or CI/CD certification.
