Overview

Datadog administration and operations expert managing observability capabilities with Datadog and ServiceNow across infrastructure and applications.

What you'll do

• Design and implement an enterprise observability strategy using Datadog and ServiceNow integrations.
• Deploy and manage Datadog agents and integrations across cloud, Kubernetes, NGINX, databases, and messaging.
• Define monitoring standards including dashboards, SLOs/SLIs, tagging conventions, and alerting policies.
• Implement Datadog to ServiceNow event routing, correlation, deduplication, and Incident/Problem auto-creation.
• Maintain SLOs, error budgets, and escalation policies while reducing alert noise and improving MTTR.
• Automate monitor/dashboard provisioning and integrate monitoring promotion across environments via CI/CD.

What you'll need

• 5–8+ years in Infrastructure/Platform/SRE/Observability roles for enterprise environments.
• Expert hands-on Datadog administration including agents, integrations, logs pipelines, APM/tracing (OpenTelemetry), RUM, synthetics, dashboards, monitors, and tagging strategy.
• ServiceNow experience in Event Management plus Incident/Problem/Change and CMDB design, Discovery, and IntegrationHub patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows/Unix for cluster and workload monitoring.
• Scripting proficiency in Python/PowerShell/Bash and ability to use Datadog/ServiceNow APIs.
• Capability to design SLOs/SLIs and reduce false positives to measurably improve MTTR.
