Staff Software Engineer

Overview

Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of scalable software systems as a Staff Software Engineer. Own multiple product features end to end and provide technical leadership across engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Lead code and design reviews and establish development standards.
• Develop, debug, test, and deploy functional web applications.
• Design and maintain scalable APIs, reusable code, and application libraries.
• Monitor system health and resolve production and on-call incidents.
• Optimize application and system performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide internal technical support.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, system administrators, product teams, customers, and vendors.

What you'll need

• At least 8 years of related software development experience, or 6 years with an advanced degree.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong C# programming and full-stack development experience.
• Experience with React or Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and Kubernetes.
• Advanced SQL and NoSQL database, caching, testing, and performance optimization experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, production monitoring, OpenTelemetry, and on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in engineering, technology, or a related field.
• Experience with SaaS products in technology or financial industries.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Flutter or other cross-platform mobile frameworks.
