Staff Software Engineer, Enterprise GenAI

Overview

Staff Software Engineer for an enterprise GenAI platform, owning large parts of the product and improving scalability and reliability across components that interact with LLMs and ML models.

What you'll do

• Own large new areas within the product.
• Work across backend and frontend while interacting with LLMs and ML models.
• Solve hard engineering problems in scalability and reliability.
• Deliver experiments at high velocity and high quality for customers.
• Work across the full product lifecycle from conceptualization through production.
• Multi-task and learn new technologies quickly.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of full-time engineering experience after post-graduation.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Nice to have

• Experience scaling products at hyper growth startups.
• Experience tinkering with or productizing LLMs and vector databases (and other latest AI technologies).

Details

• Base salary range (San Francisco, New York, Seattle): $252,000–$315,000 USD.
