Overview

Staff Web Designer for Harvey’s Web team, defining and elevating the web design experience across harvey.ai and web-facing surfaces.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve the website design system, including scalable patterns and governance standards.
• Lead end-to-end web design from concept and user research to prototyping and technical hand-off.
• Improve user experience, conversion, and accessibility via exploration, prototyping, and user testing.
• Mentor junior web designers on responsive design, accessibility, and design-system governance.
• Run design demos and present design work to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Use AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate design workflows and explore new interactions.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of professional design experience focused on web and digital product design at staff or senior-staff level.
• Portfolio demonstrating user experience design, interaction design, responsive design, and design-system architecture.
• Expertise in systems thinking for building, scaling, and governing design systems.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and ability to provide pixel-level specs and hand-offs.
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted design workflows to raise quality and velocity.
• Excellent communication skills for running design reviews and cross-functional critiques.

• Compensation: $146,600–$219,800 USD depending on location.
