Overview
The Staff Web Designer will define and elevate the design experience across Harvey’s website and web-facing surfaces.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve the website design system, including patterns, component libraries, and governance.
- Lead end-to-end web design work from concept and user research to prototyping and technical hand-off.
- Improve UX, conversion, and accessibility through exploration, prototyping, and user testing.
- Mentor junior web designers on responsive design, accessibility, and design-system governance.
- Run design demos and present work to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Use AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate design workflows and explore new interactions.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of professional design experience focused on web and digital product design at staff or senior-staff level.
- A portfolio demonstrating UX, interaction, responsive web design, and design-system architecture.
- Deep expertise in building, scaling, and governing design systems for multiple teams and uses.
- Strong command of modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and ability to provide pixel-level specs and technical hand-offs.
- Ability to leverage AI-assisted design workflows and raise quality and velocity in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including running design reviews and stakeholder demos.

- Compensation range is $146,600–$219,800 USD depending on location.
