Strategic Account Executive

Overview

Strategic Account Executive responsible for winning new business and expanding relationships with large, strategic enterprise customers focused on cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies.
• Run efficient sales processes from prospecting through close.
• Build and manage relationship maps for an assigned territory.
• Understand customers’ businesses and identify business drivers.
• Negotiate pricing and business terms by selling value and ROI.
• Expand reach and depth within existing customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate and consistent sales forecasts.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of closing experience across mid-market and enterprise field sales.
• History of meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $1M+.
• Experience with average deal sizes of $100K+.
• Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently.
• Experience selling into large Fortune 1000 companies and winning new logos.
• Regular travel to client sites and other regions.

Nice to have

• Experience at an innovative technology company.
• Experience in SaaS or IT infrastructure.
