Strategic Account Executive

Overview

Strategic Account Executives prospect and close new business with large, strategic enterprise customers, helping organizations address challenges associated with operating in or migrating to cloud environments at scale.

What you'll do

• Prospect into Fortune 1000 companies and manage an efficient sales process.
• Build and maintain relationship maps for assigned territories.
• Understand customers' businesses and identify business drivers.
• Negotiate pricing and business terms by selling value and ROI.
• Expand relationships and account reach within assigned territories.
• Build pipeline, validate opportunities, and close business.
• Maintain accurate and consistent sales forecasts.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of closing experience across mid-market and enterprise field sales.
• Experience meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $1M+.
• Experience managing an average deal size of $100K+.
• Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently.
• Experience selling to large Fortune 1000 companies and winning new logos.
• Regular travel to client sites and other regions.

• Experience working at an innovative technology company.
• Experience in SaaS or IT infrastructure.
