Strategic Account Executive, Acquisition | Seattle, Denver, Portland | Remote

Overview

Own new-business acquisition across the West region by prospecting, developing, and closing opportunities with new customers using a consultative sales approach.

What you'll do

• Meet quarterly and annual individual sales goals.
• Prospect outbound into net-new customers.
• Manage prospecting, meetings, demos, proofs of concept, proposals, and negotiations.
• Develop opportunities from outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
• Explain the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise.
• Manage the sales pipeline and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Create quotes, process orders, and handle customer requests.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of infrastructure technology sales experience.
• A consistent record of achieving goals in a competitive environment.
• Experience in high-velocity technology companies.
• Strong communication skills across in-person, online, and written channels.
• Ability to build strong working relationships in person and virtually.
• Ability to work as an energetic, tenacious, adaptable team player.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with open source technology.
• Experience using Salesforce.
• Experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC.

• Remote role in the United States.
• On-target earnings are $270,000–$300,000 annually in the USA.
