Strategic Account Executive - Seattle

Overview

Drive enterprise account growth for GitLab's DevSecOps platform across the Seattle area. Lead complex sales cycles, build strategic customer relationships, and support adoption and expansion.

What you'll do

• Lead strategic enterprise accounts across Seattle.
• Orchestrate sales strategies with technical, customer success, sales development, and partner teams.
• Align GitLab solutions with customer business objectives and compliance needs.
• Develop account plans covering opportunity mapping and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage customer journeys from discovery through evaluation, negotiation, and implementation.
• Contribute to forecasting, pipeline reviews, and win/loss analyses.
• Prepare customer-facing and internal presentations, proposals, and recommendations.

What you'll need

• Experience driving complex B2B software sales cycles with enterprise customers.
• Experience selling into large enterprise accounts in Seattle, United States.
• Ability to build relationships with C-level and senior business and technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the Seattle enterprise market and its buying dynamics.
• Ability to acquire and expand enterprise business through consultative, multi-stakeholder sales.
• Experience collaborating with channel and strategic partners.
• Ability to use GitLab and Salesforce in daily work.

Details

• Remote role for residents of the United States.
• Seattle-area territory.
• Travel required as needed.
• Base salary: $124,000–$186,600 USD yearly, excluding bonuses, equity, and benefits.
• Sales incentive pay is targeted at up to 100% of base salary.
