Strategic Account Executive (SLED)

Overview

Strategic Account Executive responsible for winning and expanding State, Local, and Education (SLED) enterprise accounts, selling technology solutions and achieving revenue targets.

What you'll do

• Prospect into large State, Local, and Education organizations.
• Run an efficient sales process across assigned territories.
• Build and manage relationship maps for existing and prospective contacts.
• Understand customers’ businesses and identify opportunity value drivers.
• Negotiate pricing and business terms using value and ROI.
• Expand existing customer relationships and territory reach.
• Maintain accurate and consistent forecasts.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of closing experience in field sales.
• 2–3+ years of SLED or government sales experience.
• Experience meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $1M+.
• Experience with average deal sizes of $100K+.
• Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently.
• Experience selling to large SLED organizations and winning new logos.
• Regular travel to client sites and other regions.

Nice to have

• Experience working for an innovative technology company, preferably SaaS or IT infrastructure.

Details

• Remote role in California, Oregon, or Washington, USA.
• Estimated yearly salary: $135,000–$150,000 USD.
• Regular travel is required using car, train, or air transportation.
