Strategic Partner Development, Data & Product Partnerships – Beneficial Deployments

Overview

Lead strategic data and product partnership deal-making on Anthropic’s Beneficial Deployments team to bring Claude into high-impact areas via partnership agreements.

What you'll do

• Support deal work from ideation through signature by scoping partner and Anthropic goals.
• Design partnership structures that work for both sides.
• Negotiate agreement terms and ensure obligations are honored afterwards.
• Structure and close partnerships in collaboration with partner managers and legal.
• Translate recurring deal patterns into standard structures for faster, consistent execution.
• Maintain a clear view of the partnership pipeline and communicate status across teams.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience negotiating and closing agreements in business development/strategic partnerships/licensing/data or content deals/corporate development.
• Deal-making experience leading deals from term sheet through signature, including non-standard agreements.
• Comfort negotiating complex terms covering rights, use restrictions, privacy, and security obligations.
• Experience working cross-functionally, especially with legal teams and relationship/program stakeholders.
• Ability to carry many agreements at once, track what was agreed, and stay organized.
• Good judgment to say no or propose alternative deal shapes with incomplete information.

• This is a deal-making role, not a sales role.
• Work is expected on a location-based hybrid policy with staff in an office at least 25% of the time.
