Strategic Partner Development, Product Partnerships – Semiconductors

Overview

Lead product partnerships for Anthropic’s semiconductor vertical, shaping platform strategy and closing commercial and technical agreements for collaborative growth.

What you'll do

• Research, source, structure, negotiate, and close strategic collaborations across the semiconductor stack.
• Act as the internal expert on semiconductor partnerships across research, product, and leadership.
• Navigate counterparty organizations (R&D, legal, IP/licensing, procurement) to finalize non-standard contracts and agreements.
• Structure commercial software, IP, and technology-access agreements with workable terms for both sides.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to scope, evaluate, approve, and implement partnerships end to end.
• Support executive-level engagements with strategic counterparties using briefings and negotiation strategy.
• Step into partnerships in other Product Partnerships verticals when company priorities shift.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, technology licensing, or corporate development.
• Deal-maker experience closing deals across more than one industry or deal type.
• Track record landing complex multi-stakeholder partnerships (software/IP licenses, technology-access deals, or strategic alliances).
• Working fluency in semiconductors (e.g., design flows, PDKs, verification, or process nodes).
• Strong commercial and legal instincts for licensing (e.g., EULAs, IP rights, usage restrictions).
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with legal, finance, research, and executives.

Details

• Annual salary range: $205,000–$240,000 USD.
• Logistics: staff expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time (hybrid policy).
