Overview

Engineering Manager, Growth to lead Anthropic’s Growth Engineering team and founding efforts for its growth initiative.

What you'll do

• Build and lead a team of growth engineers for user acquisition, activation, and retention.
• Define and execute the technical strategy for growth initiatives, including A/B testing and measurement.
• Set direction and clarity for the team in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and data science to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
• Take an inclusive approach to hiring and coaching technical talent.
• Develop scalable systems for experimentation, personalization, and optimization.

What you'll need

• Strong full-stack development background with success building and shipping growth initiatives.
• Track record leading growth experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven product optimization.
• Experience recruiting, scaling, and retaining engineering talent in a growth environment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills across functions.
• Demonstrated success building a culture of belonging and engineering excellence.

Details

• Hybrid location-based policy: expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
