Strategic Solutions Engineer, East

Overview

Strategic Solutions Engineer (East) partnering with Sales to guide prospective customers through discovery, design, and validation of Cresta’s AI-powered solutions.

What you'll do

• Map customer business objectives, technical environments, and operational challenges to AI-driven solutions.
• Design solutions using Cresta real-time AI capabilities such as virtual agents, agent assist, and conversation intelligence.
• Lead technical discovery covering contact center infrastructure, telephony/IVR, and CRM/workforce management platforms.
• Qualify and translate requirements into scalable Cresta configurations aligned to business value and technical feasibility.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations and lead proof-of-value (POV) engagements including integrations and workflows.
• Run ROI workshops and build business case models to quantify impact such as cost reduction, efficiency, and CSAT.
• Act as a technical liaison across Sales, Product, and Engineering and stay current on emerging AI/contact center technologies.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in customer-facing roles.
• 3–5 years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or consulting in enterprise software or contact center.
• Knowledge of contact center solutions including telephony architecture and CCaaS platforms.
• Understanding of AI/ML technologies including LLMs and SLMs for conversational AI and agent augmentation.
• Experience with real-time systems, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), analytics platforms, and SaaS solution architecture.
• Ability to design and communicate complex solutions to technical and business audiences.
