Supervisor 1, Private Client Service

Overview

Supervisor 1, Private Client Service responsible for executing supervisor-level functions, maintaining quality standards, and supporting client service delivery across Canadian engagements.

What you'll do

• Execute core Supervisor functions and contribute to team objectives.
• Prepare bookkeeping records and financial statements for compilation and review engagements.
• Prepare Canadian corporate income tax returns (T2) and ensure tax compliance.
• Perform financial analysis, including variance, ratio, YoY, and cash flow statement preparation.
• Conduct first-level technical reviews for compilation and in-charge reviews for review engagements.
• Supervise, coach, and review Senior Associates and Associates work and provide feedback.
• Monitor progress, budgets, timelines, productivity, and deliverable completion; escalate risks and delays.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience (as one listed minimum qualification).
• CA qualified with 4 years relevant experience (as one listed minimum qualification pathway).
• ACCA/CPA qualified with 5 years relevant experience (as one listed minimum qualification pathway).
• Technical knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, and GAAP for compliant financial reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with engagement partners and managers for high-quality client engagements.
• Experience partnering with Canada-based engagement teams and clients for communication and information flow.
