Overview
Supply Chain Scheduler responsible for maintaining raw material and components inventory levels and ensuring availability to meet customer demand.
What you'll do
- Track MPS achievement and propose preventive actions related to material availability.
- Set and manage inventory levels for raw materials and component families.
- Measure Supplier Service Rate (SSR) per supplier and propose action plans to improve service.
- Follow daily inventory levels and material arrivals versus firm orders, ensuring on-time supplier shipping.
- Plan raw materials and components requirements using Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning, and Master Production Schedule; anticipate impacts with suppliers and production.
- Send weekly forecasts to suppliers and communicate accurate information to supplier contacts on an adaptive cadence.
- Identify blocking points and plan quick actions; support logistics/purchasing meetings and related follow-ups.
What you'll need
- Experience in material requirement planning based on Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning, and Master Production Schedule (stated processes).
- Ability to communicate complete, precise, reliable information to supplier contacts (stated requirement).
- Support for supply chain organization improvements using tools and methods like Pull flow, Kanban, EDI, and Milk run (tools listed).
- Ability to support inventory counting and improve inventory accuracy in cooperation with ERP and inventory control analyst (stated collaboration).
- Ability to define backup coverage for suppliers and train backups to manage suppliers’ accounts during absences (stated requirement).
- Ability to support inbound transportation planning with the External flow analyst (stated collaboration).
