Support Engineer 1 - WMS & PL/SQL

Overview

Support global customers using the Dispatcher Warehouse Management System (WMS), taking end-to-end ownership of application issues and developing techno-functional expertise.

What you'll do

• Provide application support for global WMS customers.
• Resolve high-complexity and criticality issues, including performance-related issues.
• Analyze logs, source code, and query execution to troubleshoot application problems.
• Lead root-cause analysis and propose prevention ideas.
• Raise application issue-fix requests with the product development team.
• Guide team members in resolving medium-complexity issues.
• Communicate issue impacts and workarounds with customers and stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of application support experience.
• Knowledge of a Warehouse Management System application or the supply chain domain.
• Strong PL/SQL or Pro*C analysis skills.
• Experience analyzing code and supporting enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and SQL.
• Effective verbal and written customer communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Java.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting.

• Technical environment includes Oracle DB, Java, Spring Boot, React JS, JavaScript, REST API, SOAP API, flat-file integration, ServiceNow, and JIRA.
