SW Engineer

Overview

Software engineer role at NCR Atleos focused on Microsoft technologies, C#/.NET and C++ Windows applications, and object-oriented design.

What you'll need

• Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows 11/10 and experience with the .NET framework and XML
• Basic ability for black box test design, development and execution
• Solid programming/engineering skills in 2 or more relevant languages or methodologies
• Expertise in specific product/process or system architecture areas
• Understanding of multiple system components and/or multiple programming languages
• Ability to analyze product design or assembly/test processes for at least one product area or assembly process
• Ability to find basic design flaws and test corrective action or fix
• Ability to apply professional judgment based on analysis of quantitative data and information, including screening, categorizing and resolving data integrity issues
• Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related disciplines and industry practices
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Professional attitude
• 1-4 years of related experience, of which at least 2 years in C#.Net or C++ with Windows Application
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline
• Strong practical experience in object-oriented analysis and design

Nice to have

• Preferably worked and versed in Agile Methodologies
• Experience in web services (added advantage)
• Awareness of competitor products and advantages of current and alternative assembly/test processes
