Job description

Overview

SW Systems Engineer for Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding development on BCM chipset platforms.

What you'll do

  • Work on networking data plane forwarding concepts across L2 and L3.
  • Implement and handle delivery of owned component/module(s).
  • Apply knowledge of routing algorithms and control plane networking concepts.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues including memory leaks and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with multi-site project teams.

What you'll need

  • 5-8 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of L2/L3 forwarding and related areas including VXLAN, MCT, ACL, and QoS.
  • In-depth understanding of Linux operating systems and embedded software development.
  • Excellent programming knowledge in C.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to Go and microservices architecture.
