Job description

Overview

SW Systems Engineer for Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding development on BCM chipset platforms.

What you'll do

Work on networking data plane forwarding concepts across L2 and L3.
Implement and handle delivery of owned component/module(s).
Apply knowledge of routing algorithms and control plane networking concepts.
Troubleshoot and debug issues including memory leaks and performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with multi-site project teams.

What you'll need

5-8 years of experience.
Strong understanding of L2/L3 forwarding and related areas including VXLAN, MCT, ACL, and QoS.
In-depth understanding of Linux operating systems and embedded software development.
Excellent programming knowledge in C.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to Go and microservices architecture.
