System Analyst – Zena Batch Support

Overview

System Analyst for Zena Batch Support, responsible for validating and supporting end-to-end batch processing workflows in the Acceptance (UAT) environment.

What you'll do

• Monitor and support End-of-Day (EOD) batch execution processes.
• Execute and manage batch jobs using Zena Scheduler.
• Validate job dependencies, schedules, calendars, and prerequisite conditions.
• Analyse batch execution logs to identify failures or performance bottlenecks.
• Investigate batch failures and identify root causes using scheduler, application, and system logs.
• Execute batch testing activities in the Acceptance (UAT) environment and validate results.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of experience in batch scheduling, monitoring, and production support.
• Knowledge of enterprise job schedulers such as Zena, Control-M, or CA7.
• Understanding of batch processing architecture, job dependencies/workflows, and EOD/EOM/EOQ/EOY monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot failures by analysing batch execution logs.
• Unix/Linux knowledge including shell script execution.
• Ability to validate file transfers, scripts, notifications, and automation workflows.
